I drive a 2002 Maxima and I just threw on a set of g35 18's.

I got my fenders rolled yesterday and it's not rubbing as much but there's a part of the bumper that sticks out past the back of the wheel well that makes the wheel rub over bumps.

I have no idea what to do about this because I don't think it can be cut, then it would just make the bumper hang off because that's there it's connected to the rest of the car.

Help!

Edit* typo

Try to look at some build logs at the maxima forum *maxima.org*

last i saw there was a 5th gen like yours with 10.5 wide all around

Since its g wheels, did you get matching sets of fronts or rears? If not i know a set is wider than the other cause of g's staggered wheels. Try to get some extra wheight on the car and see how much more clearance you need. If not alot, try to pull your fenders a bit, just be careful.

Forgot to ask, are you lowered or have saggy ass syndrome? Could be a issue too that we can try to help you fix

Were these the wheels btw?19fb3527.jpg
