Jared420
Anyone played with boxes under the rear seat in the new silverado ext cabs ? About how much airspace can you get under. I know it will be slightly different than the space under my 06 seat and I'm trading up for a 2012 in the spring wondering how much space I will have to work with Quote 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts

Also you now how many inches it is from the floor to The bottom of the Seat? Jared420
8 inches are u gonna forward fire them or upfire if u glass to floor? Whatever fits, may need to fire up or have to extend the box a little further out from the seat to get the room to fire forward Quote 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
SilveradoGoesBang
If ur gonna fire them forward sticking out in front of the seat u mine as well take it out and upfire isn't bad but u lose room keeping it from hitting the seat Quote "SilveradoGoesBang" http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155256-silveradogoesbang-box-done-take-notes-on-bracing/ 2 FI BTL 18's CT Sounds 7k 2013 MidwestSPL Finals Xtreme 3 - 1st Place

Jared420
I just may need to get really creative to get my subs to fit somehow Quote 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
Jared420
If I stay sealed I just need 2.4 ^3 after displacement I'll have 1.95 recommended sealed specs the hardest part might be getting the room to mount the subs . I think I'll be able to get the airspace if I do a lot of glassing Quote 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
Jared420
If the seat mount are anything like the ones in my truck now I should also be able to use washers to raise the rear seat about 3/4" to 1" to gain a little extra sPace down there Quote 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
