Waldo129
Ive already got my tax return money spent and its hasn't even gotten here yet lol! Well fellas im think im going to finally make the leap and buy a H/O alternator. Ive done alot of reaserch and found that the 270 amp that Mechman makes is the best bang for my buck, at 450$. So ill be purchasing that along with some XS 0 gauge wire and a XS D975 for up front. Ill be running a fully loaded Fi BTL 18 strapped to a Planet Audio BB 2400.1 amp, ( I also have a Shuriken SK-BT120 battery in the back). Think ill have a pretty solid electrical system to back up my system? and future systems to come? I just need some honest opinions from people that are experienced with H/O alts and what not, as Ive never had one before! cvxsmitty58
Yeah you should have plenty of power. According to the general rule of thumb you need 100 amps of charging for every 1000 watts rms. With the 2 batteries along with the big 3 i wouldnt worry about being short on power
