Replacing stock speakers

so when i pull out the old speakers i hook the new one up to the existing run through the door right??

i dont have to re-run any wires through my door/dash or anything?

im not familiar with upgrading mids/highs

im pretty sure that is what u do haha i did not add any new wires or anything i just put the stock wiring on my new mids and highs so if im wrong well..better fix it then

you CAN keep the run of stock wires through the door, but they're usually like 20-18 gauge. so they're not really going to handle higher amounts of power well. its recommended to swap it out with 14 or 16 gauge.

a coat hanger could work. maybe cover it in electrical tape so you dont accidentally short anything out. i cant think of another way to do it, maybe someone else can

You gotta disconnect the old amp (factory) it should be under the passenger side dash and then find the wires from it and youngonna have to match colors for each door and rewire it to the amp.. Unless You don't do a amp then just keep old wires

im just trying to fiqure out were im going to hide all these wires

and i want to put in my head unit but im going to wait till i get my 4channel and highs so i can do it all at once
