I dont know if anyone can even help here im sure someone can. when ever i hit a bump even a really small one or what i turn right. my front right Squeaks unbelievably loud. even when the truck is off if i just push down on the passenger side on the hood it squeaks. any help would be great. ric006
sounds like you dont have a spring guard
MrEwubbsZ
what do you mean? Are you saying it needs to be greased? Because it was doing this awhile ago and then out of no where it just stoped and now it is back again and its been like this for a few days. I also noticed that if i turn the wheel from side to side as far as it will go it will stop but then comes back Quote 2000 Ranger Build Log
ric006
no there is a rubber piece on top of your spring and on bottom if it is worn out or gone it will make a sqeak or clunk noise

MrEwubbsZ
It didnt really look like anything was messed up. This was one piece of rubber that looked torn. mathewdylang
if the boot is torn the grease will escape and let moisture in, causing metal on metal with oxidation. loud squaking when turning or bumps. seen it all winter at the shop.
