CAf150 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Hello I have a 04 f150 with two really old (depth charge) 10" subs in a sealed box under the back seat and 700w, 4ohm, 2ch pioneer amp. I have been out of the loop for a long time so my question is... what is a good 10" 4ohm sub that hits hard when listening to hip hop/rap and can thump good to some Metallica or rock. Just a good all around sub. I will replace the amp if needed but it seems to work good. A buddy of mine runs two 10" polk MM subs with a kenwood amp and it does a pretty good job... so i dont have really high standards but know that there is better out there. Thanks for the help.

But generally speaking, any sub can hit hard and low with the proper setup, equipment, and luck.
