jbiddle.com Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Hi there guys, i will assure you that this is not my first system and not my loudest either. but i am looking for something a little new i already know what kind of box i am building. its going in a single cab truck so its a center sonsol as well. so internal net volume of box is about 4 cubic feet, i will then fill it with 5 lbs of poly. fill. this will make the two woofers act like there in a 5 cube enclosure. i know all of the bassics and everything about building boxes i am just torn about the kind of sub and amp i want to run. i have a pretty nice budget of about 350 dollars per sub. i am really considering the JBL Gti MkII 12's but does any one have any better recomendations for that price range?? also the sub box is going to be tuned to between 31 and 33hz using four 4" aero ports. in this set up the subs will be mounted in the center consol between the seats and the four 4" aero ports will be behind the seats two on each side i will post pix of my build progress with this box as i go along and hopefully you guys can tell me what you like and dis like about it all. and as for the subs the biggest i can go is two 12" subs. As for an amp if you wanted a little more power you could get an AQ 2200d for like 440 shipped...not a bad deal.
