Box looks awesome! I like "L" bend ports more than "S" bend ports but its all personal preference. I'm sure you're going to end up with a great sounding 8s box

It's the only way to put a 2 1/2" wide port that is 46" long in there. If you went from front to the back, then to the other side, you would need to come back towards the front again. Which would be a bad design and also would change the box size trying to do it that way.
