OliverBéreÅ¡ Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 Some photos about amp Settings .... and lukaQ , I had before volume on radio 35 and on amp the same like now...it was pounding perfect but then itt happend what is in video....so then I turned down the volume to 32 ....it was perfect for some days...a lot of my friends heard this setup but then it started to do often ....and now I have gain on radio 28 and it shoots down too....I dont know what is going on Digital Designs Audio ♥

OliverBéreÅ¡ Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 no , the same not happens at volume 20 ... now I changed subs for A channel....somehow I turned up freq...they are playing music but not very loud....only a little bit hear the singing....and they are doing a 2x xmax like on b channel (on low frequencys) .....on 20 hz its around 3cm ....and the protect was not lighint....If I can set the low pass lower ..it will be good Digital Designs Audio ♥

I think you will use 4ch, on page 56, top part but as I see, Ch.A does not have low pass filter, which would make it useless for sub setup only which means, you would need to put both subs on Ch.B, which has very little power to power both subs, 440w and probably even less Too bad you can't do anything I can see with Ch.A I would put F3 to 70Hz no more then that, that will draw less of the power on higher notes Got carbon fiber dust cap???
OliverBéreÅ¡ Posted February 17, 2012 Author Report Posted February 17, 2012 Thanks for your time ! yes,I have those subs on 440w rms at 2 ohm .....and today I was testing it...more than 70 minutes music at vol. 28 on radio...the amp didnt shoot down...I didnt smell the coil and the magnet of DD ´s was a little bit hot...only a little,the dust cap wasnt hot....so without distortion and on lower volume its all OK ! I have F3 at 70 hz ....later I will buy some kind of bigger amp and it will be all good... thanks lukaQ ! Digital Designs Audio ♥
lukaQ Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 if it warms up on that power, you still have clip, just less of it look I have my full power up to clip of m1a on each... ok counting in impedance raise, I was driving my sub with about 400-500w measured... didn't get warm at all... but when they were new, they got warm fast maybe try on 26 for a while, just to be sure Got carbon fiber dust cap???
OliverBéreÅ¡ Posted February 17, 2012 Author Report Posted February 17, 2012 yes but my DDs are not broken in....the amp is not showing clipping ....red light is not lighting ....when I was listening to it on volume 32 ...15 minutes and I smelled the coil...now 70 minutes and stilll nothing....I think its now clean...I think if they will be broken in,it will slap without getting warm ,and a little bit louder Digital Designs Audio ♥
