timhamn Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I recently recieved a sony mx1302 amplifer along with 2 pioneer subs from a friend. After going through the process of installing everything, I realized that only one of the subs was functioning. After testing the sub that wasn't with a speaker wire from one of my 6x9's it was working. I think there may be an issue where the RCA cables connect as I had issues after installing it with having to move the RCA cables around until it would function. Would the RCA cables not making a proper connection cause one of the subs to not function correctly? I've tried using different RCA cables with the same problem. Is there anyway to fix the input slots where the RCA cables connect if this is the case?

vans113 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 ^^ what they said if its bridged on the amp and one sub is hitting the rca's are not the problem, but if its not bridged and on 2 separate channels it could be a connection problem since each plug in on the pre outs is for each channel aka left and right.
