Boon
There's a bunch of stuff to consider... Cold will stiffen up the surrounds and suspension so probably affect the subs T/S so it's going to sound a bit different until it warms up each time. It will also make your amplifiers slightly more efficient because cold = lower resistance - we had a good debate about this recently on another forum, not sure quite how much difference it makes but hey... The other thing to consider is that your battery works MUCH worse in the cold, so keep in mind that what you could normally run may instead result in voltage drops and large clipping if it's a bit chilly Quote 10.x volts fo' life! +ZER0Hz+
like previous posts, don't go blaring ur shit, as soon as u get in the car, give ur subs/car time to warm up, and gradually increase the volume. it was 30' today, and I was bumping my bass +6 and volume of 40-45 out of 50 and had no problem. I turned alot of heads and pissed off alot of people though =P good thing no cops. haha cops.... nobody thinks its the white boy! midwest winters suck cause it just comes really quick... ...and leaves reallllllyy slow Garages FTMFW!
