Do i need big 3 if voltage stays around 14.6V?

im doing the big 3 but my batts in the trunk so its a little harder to do in my cobalt. is it ok to use, used 0awg wire? my friend is selling his 0awg that he took out of his car that works perfectly

copper is copper. as long as its not corroded it will work perfectly fine.

some parts of the insulation are a little burnt but it looks like the wire is perfectly fine

Is the insulation only burnt at the end where the wore is exposed?

If so that's normal because of soldering
