There's a lot that will work.

is it D2 or D4 voice coils?

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

do you already have the subwoofer? because you can get an obsidian 12" for less. it's a better sub too.

if you already have the sub is it dual 4 or dual 2 ohm voice coils?

It doesn't matter which one .. none is better it's either it's the ohm load. There the same, but you need to know this so you know what amplifier to choose to support the ohm load of the sub... it's complex i know.. Text me if you want me to break it down Gunna get off here.

Check out my build log:

neither one is "better" it's all about matching it to your amp. d4 can be wired down to 2 ohms to match a 2 ohm stable amp, or d2 can be wired down to one ohm to mach a one ohm stable amp.

before you buy, i'd consider getting this sub instead of the alpine. it will take more power than the type R. just overall a better sub
