Junior De Anda
Is this amp over rated or under rated? it says it does 450 at 4 ohm 900 at 2 ohm and 1200 at 1 ohm I'm going to run this on a single kicker l7 12"
MIKE-2U
my friend just got one powering 2 re audios in a sealed box. today i tuned em with the dd-1 and cc-1 . i have clamp tested it but im guessing its probaly around 1,000 watts on good electrical considering its a 4 gauge input. just my guess. 412 CVX
it probably does rated on perfect electrical without impedance rise, but since those two things will more than likely exist, it will probably just come close to rated. so yeah, it's a decent amp. 412 CVX
Impedance rise is when the resistance, expressed in ohms, the amp sees rises. it's a very normal thing and will happen in every setup. and yes, it should push the L7's just fine.
