Bassilove31
Hello everyone I was on here the other day asking about wat my old box was tuned to. Anyway I'm getting a new box built this week and I just wanna make sure the guy knows wat he is talking bout. The new box will be made out of Baltic birch 13ply plywood. The external measurements of the box including the double baffle on top are (43.5w by 36.5l by 25.5H) external ports (2) on top of the box are 30L by 4W with the vent length being 23" long. This box is four 15"s.... He told me after displacements each sub would see 3.8 each driver. I thought it be closer to 4 cubic ft each sub maybe more. STEvil
how thick is the wood of the box? You need inner measurements to determine volume of the enclosure. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. STEvil
(42x35x25.5)/4 = 21.69 /4 = 5.4 cubes each, before displacement. edit my brain is not firing on all cylinders for the moment.. uhh.. i'll check this again tomorrow night.
