Young6er
Today i wrapped my box in black suede and decided to turn the box around and see how it sounds. In a way it sounds cleaner but it is not as loud but move way more air. If i biuld a border around the box will it be louder since no air is escaping back into the trunk? i know other people have more experiance than i do on this. -Alpine CDA-102 -Rockford Fosgate T1652 -Rockford Fosgate P1652 -Audioque 2200 -Fi Btl N2 12 -KCA Karma 0 Gauge Power -KCA Karma 0 Gauge Ground-Sound deadened trunk and doors
Jaloosk
I think you should be a little more generic with your question. What kind of car... What kind of box... What kind of sub... What kind of amp... What kind of music... "Cheap, good or fast. You can only pick two out of three." "Have money? Love story! No money? I'm sorry." fecupe2001
Every car is different, i´ve built tons of trunk cars already, some of them are louder with everything facing back and others the other way around, another example, i´ve built trunk cars that are louder to your ears facing everything back but they are louder on the meter facing forward. Way too many factors, but if it´s louder facing back i seriously doubt you´ll gain a lot of output by just sealing the box to the back if you face it forward I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
