I have the 3.5k and I'm going to be getting an mb quart 125.4. I have a mechman 220 amp alt and a d3400 already. I was just wondering which would better fit my needs.

I know the xp 2000 and the whole xp line are better for secondary batteries. I do not recall the specs. I would have to say the xp 2000 battery because as you posted it would be used in the back. Maybe someone else can clarify that.

The biggest I could fit is a 3400 or the xp2000. The thing is, is that the guide for the 3400 is good for 2500-4000 watts and the xp2000 it just says 2000 watts

If it is for daily use I would save my money and get the XP2000. If it is for competition use I would get the D3400. The D3400 is a better more powerfull battery, but if you are just using it for daily use and not in comps then you aren't going to miss anything.
