DRCinc
i dont own a walled off car yet but i would imagine you build a frame for support(2x4's etc) bolt them to the floor in the car(chassis if you can swing it) and go from there. it also gives you something to secure the bottom sheet of MDF to so you dont run into any problems with gas tank and hitting things your not supposed to. Colin - STAPUFT
Built the box in the van. Used the 3rd row seat hold downs to bolt the box in place. Could have done more, but it isn't moving unless there is a catastrophe. (i donno where im going with this) i dont wanna make it permanent and want to be able to remove it later on down the road this is what i have to work with Quote R.I.P! jdw46
I made a 2x4 frame then drilled and bolted it through the floor n tightened it with a impact wrench. Then jus glued/screwed the mdf bottom sheet to the frame Quote 2000 stratus10 SunDown E-10s Singer 250amp Alt Xs Power D975Concept c2400All 0 gauge wire10 6 1/2's in Rear Doors

The two pieces of board you see is it. But when i put the double layered box in and screwed it to the platform, its like being 3 layers thick on the bottom. Three 3/4 layers wont hardly give any!! uhoh_45
well this is what i came up with some coupling bolts welded up to some angle iron with hole drilled into it attached to seat belt bolt drilled some holes in some flat bar and bent it up to fit the seat mount 2x4 screwed to it glued down the mdf with 3/16" area routed out so the box is flush and its bolted in for now while glue dries (the alt hread will be unscrewed and box will be put in and bolted down to vehicle as well) Quote R.I.P!
