But i looked and couldnt really find a thread for battery choices ? i have a dc level 5 18 that im putting in a 7^3 box tuned @ 35 hertz on a RF t2000-1bd. I know it can handle much much more power. But im on a budget and i got the t2k on a steal. Only temp set up untill i can but either a dc 3.5 or a7 amp. Well my question is what size battery and what type should i get to get from my voltage dropping ? i have stock alt right now, gunna upgrade soon. and i'm about to order 50' of 0 gauge for big three and to run to my amp. SOOO, which battery should i go with that wont break my wallet. Also how should i wire them ? relay or what ? If there is a thread out there already for this please point me in the right direction. Personally I've used Deka 9a31's. Group 31 batteries that you can usually snag for around $100.00 if you search. Could also try Shuriken. It's been a while since I was budget battery searching. There are a couple listings for C&D Technologies batteries. They work great for budget builders. Don't expect to see 14V's with one budget battery oon your stock alternator though. You're still going to have drop down into the 12V's. And just wire it in parallel with your primary starter battery. + to + and - to -. Like I said though, check the elctrical section.
