I want to "cycle" it a few times or "desulfate it. i want some details on how to come about that. I picked up a Schumacher 100amp load tester, and i have a xs power 12volt intellicharge as well as a regular 2/4/6 amp charger. the battery is a d975 Quote
Nathan @ XSpower Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Charge the battery up and then load test it and then charge it back up. Depending on how bad the battery is sulfated it may get hot while charging. Just take your time and run it through a few cycles. Quote

Nathan @ XSpower Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 Follow the directions on the load tester for how to load test the battery. Same settings as always on the charger. Resting voltage out of the car on a new one should sit around 12.9-13.2V. Quote
