do they really stick out that much from the side walls? maybe you could just cut the little corners that are stopping it from fitting in

Yeah.. a good.. 3-4 inches each in width.. Looking at fiberglassing.. doesn't seem to hard honestly. Hard part woulld be to make one out of nothing.. With no shape to cover it with.. sorry kinda confusing I know.

Nevermind, I understand how you would do it.. you'd create what you want out of wood. Cover it with the cloth, add the resin/harderner mix. Then a filler such as bondo wait for it to dry a little take off high spots let it dry and sand it..

Yeah, just something cosmetic wise. Rather it not be the body of my car with wires showing yanno?

Im no pro but trying to FG all that could run a lot of money if not done right. I would just figure a way to make some beauty panels from top edge of box to weather stripping. maybe even pull some material very tight and resin that up. throw some carpet on it and just wrap some carpet on the very back piece. Just a quick suggestion kind of hard to say without looking at car in front of me :shrug:
