WakingJudea Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 the check charging system message came up on my 05 taurus after install but i checked everything and its charging at 14.2 up front and the bank in back is reading the same. any ideas on what i should do/check before bringing it to a shop and hook it up to the computer and see what code it is? Be sure your plug is fully bottomed out in the regulator, and that your OEM charge cable is connected properly.
