so got rid of the fi q but honestly i think it was too much for the car, i mean bottoming out on every bump was getting annoying, but i did get a sweet orion hcca 10.2, and its crazy! a 40lb 10 is insane. i will be building a box soon and ill put up some pics once i get my phone fixed

awesome show yesterday in hanford! i scored a bass knocking 122.4 but then again, thats running the sub on only 250 watts, give or take 50 watts haha, definitely getting a better and amp before the next meca meet.

you'll struggle to even get close to 140dB with more power, unless you do a 4th order bandpass, or just hack the car apart.

give the sub 10 times the power (2500watts) and chances are it still won't even hit 130dB.

so its been a while, but i built up a new box for the 10 and its insane, tuned to around 30hz, it hits the lowes harder than the 18 i had. picking up a us amps amp on wednesday, so im gonna be running 2000 watts rms! ill post up pictures and vids once i get the amp wired up.
