windowtinter Posted March 18, 2012 Report Share Posted March 18, 2012 Been working on a build for a while, had an irraggi quad kit for it sent the alts to mechman and without ever using them they dynoed under 250 amps with all chinese internals which doesnt make for a very bullett proof alt. so we had mechman swap regulator and recitifer. after that they were redynoed and did over the 260 mark. They sent them back we slapped em in finally got the truck up qnd running. with 4 3100 &1 3400 charging @ 15.2 full tilt for almost an hr yesterday i never saw voltage below 13@idle and @1600 rpm never below 14 thats with a 12k @.5 bridged. thanks mechman nortons car stereo in charleston sc will never use a different alt company!
