MECHMAN Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 I always recommend a new belt with any high output alternator due to the increased load the belt will see. You may need a slightly shorter belt to properly tension on your vehicle. I recommend fitting it with the old belt, checking tension, then replacing with a belt the appropriate length.
