Dollar for dollar, the LS-1 wins hands down, drive-ability wins hands down, reliability wins hands down, the only difference might come in weight, which after turbo piping and everying will be meh.... I love toyota, I love 2jz-e motors. I want to put a 2jz in a GNX just to fuck with people.
