Legit question need legit advise, How hot is to hot?

So... Ima start with my entire setup starting with

electrical

2 stock 130 amp alts,

1 redtop(rear) 1 agm grp 78 1 grp 78 lead acid

(both up front)

1 run of 0 front to back batt

I have upgraded my connections under hood

minus the batt to ground where as i ran out of

power wire.. But will b done in a day or two

Rear battery is grounded with 0 to the frame

Im waiting on another roll to redo grounds

Sony h/u i got for free cuz my apline took a dump

before i did my install..

Dc 3.5k

2 stock level 4 m2s

Clarion eq

Everything is tuned correctly with a dd-1 and sounds amazing

Box is recomended specs, subs up port up where my rear seat used to be, tuned at 30hz and made from birch

My break in method isnt 75% volume for the first week, ive been playing them pretty much full tilt, but where the driver are reaching distance away i keep a feel on the dustcap to see how hot they are getting.

My voltage stays ABOVE 14V!!!

My question resides still yet how hot is to hot when i feel the dustcap?

Ive gotten them coils pretty warm, but nothing i couldnt set my hand on the dustcap and leave it there for any period of time...

I have only smelled them 2 times and have never been to hot to touch an the amp stays cold..

Second question, is from my understanding and previous experience ive concured that usually brand new subs get a little more smelly more often during the "break in" period.. Which this is day three.. Ive been playin the piss outta the setup and they havnt gotten and looser and they dont get smelly as often as i would imagine they would 20min of strait full tilt with no smell...

Any help is appriciated

A little warm probbaly won't hurt anything. It's when it starts getting hot. And stinky.
