When I turn on the HPF on my headunit the output from the subs diminish quite a bit actually. Would I have to regain my amp if I turned that on? Which I really need too. I don't have a mids and highs amp right now. For the LPF I'm using the HU too.

Headunit is a pioneer AVH-P5100DVD.

mine does the same thing. im running a pioneer hu as well. i have a deh-p8300ub

so you had to switch the mode to sub. glad you got it fixed

There is no mode to switch lol. It says DEQ/rear/subwoofer output. There is no setting on the unit to switch to subwoofer.

Old ass video but gives you what I got to work with.

page 38, lower right corner. tells you how to turn sub mode on

I derped. LOL! I guess when it's off it's rear but when it's on it defaults to sub. All good! Lmfao. I feel dumb.
