Alt - to battery negative, easiest is probably to just use the alternator mounting bolt. 01ExSport Posted March 23, 2012 Report Share Posted March 23, 2012 ummm....You should just have 1 positive from the big 3 to your battery. Go from the positive on your battery to the output stud on your alternator. From the negative on your battery to a good ground to the chassis. From the negative on your battery to an alternator mounting bolt. There are quite a few threads with nice writeups and pictures though, more helpful than any amount of words.
