2nd alternator wiring help

I have a 2005 tahoe and I am adding a second alternator to charge my 14 volt batteries in the back. It will be a separate system from the stock so I was going to two runs of power from alt to batteries, but how should i do the grounds?? run to front and hook to motor ground? 12 volt stock battery ground? Thanks for the help

if your going to keep it seperate then run it seperate all the 14 volt stuff has to have its own 14 volt power and ground but i dont see why you just dont upgrade the whole system to 14 volts, if your worried about overpowering the truck then get a stepdown module for the main stuff then keep the audio stuff on 14 volts and it eliminates the need for seperate grounds
