notorious97200
Wouldn't doubt it. It gets REALLY hot. I'm thinkin' bout going with something a little bigger than 4awg just for some "breathing room". Maybe run some 2 or 0? Definitely not going all the way to 1/0 or 2/0. 0 Ga and 1/0 is the same ! 2/0 is bigger in size and maybe harder to work with. You don't need such big wires. Like they told you : 4 Ga is enough for your system. Forget about any HO alt, or secondary batt for now. You don't have enough power. (a secondary batt in the back can help , but it's not necessary if you listen to your system with engine on). Quote black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
