Want to upgrade battery?

Hi all so i have a 06 Cadillac cts with a acdelco battery cca 690 AH63.

My audio system so far is a 4ch Mb-quart onx 4.60 i want to up grade my battery because sometimes i play my system while cleaning my car and dont want to worry about killing the battery.(i happened to me once)

I know i should not crank up the system with the car off,but you get what i'm saying.

So what is a good battery to put under my hood so this will not happen again?

P.s. i will also add a 1500 watt amp and sub in the near future.

an amp that small will not put any more than a 12.5 amp load and thats if your running two ohms a channel, thats about how much power your blower motor will pull. Now when you upgrade to the 1500 watt amp then you will need to do the big three and 2 small batts(20 or 30 ah) or one decent batt(50 or 60ah), How long did you play it for with the car off, If it was like 10-20 mins and your battery died then u might just need to get ur batt and charging system tested

i'm running a 4ohm load a channel. im in the process of doing the big3 upgrade but with this caddy getting to the positive terminal on the alt is a PITA.

my battery now has 63ah.

yeah caddy's are a pita on just about everything lol, unless you were blasting it for an hour or two then you need to get your batt tested and make sure your alt is charging properly
