I used to just jigsaw my boards and then slam screws in it and silicone the hell out of everything and not even paint. Ever notiice how the baffle will lift off the board behind it unless you have it glued already or pre-drill? good times, good times... uhoh_45 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 if you have normal drill bit you can do it to simple take some tape wrap it around bit where you want to stop the the bit from going any farther into wood and just drill up to there takes some time but you can get good results by doing this Quote R.I.P! certifiednut Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 i dont know if its cheaper or not but i use red devil lightweight spackling compound on the outside edges and screw holes, it sands easy, and never pops loose, and i always have a ton of it being as im a union painter.
