volvowith18psi
Having a new box built for my SA12's, and alot of the videos I watch, everybody is using bolt terminals. What do you guys recommend? Wanna get squared on this while the box is being designed so I have good info to give the builder. How much power can cup terminals take before they melt? Do they really introduce a significant amount of "resistance" into the circuit? (Compared to bolts) My 1 fear about bolts, is if the box decides to move/slip around, the terminals arc'ing against something and blowing everything up. Thoughts? Guest
terminal cups suck. use bolts or drill holes in the box for the wire to pass through. you should probably mount your sub box down if you're worried about it moving about.
