hotwheels
our mission was to fit an 18 liter or 0.7cft sub box in this space without cutting any off the structural steel work so keeping the van 100% safe and legal so seat came out and sat it on a base to ready it for mock up then mdf was cut and shaped to miss all the metal components which gave us this
hotwheels
so front sub how we molded the top to miss the seat belt pre-tensioners and other steel work there was only one way we could see to get around all these obstacles was to use mesh so stapled on some chicken wire then lowered seat down on to it letting all the steel work etc crush down the mesh to give us the final shape then we stitched fleece to the mesh so keep the shape in the awkward dips and curves then the resin and mat started
