ShaneBond
I have the money to buy one I want to get the 190 amp for my blazer running an audiopipe 3000 and mb quart 125.4 and a lot of people are talking about dc having problems right now. Would it be a bad choice?
TheNewbie
Not sure about them having problems as I don't have an aftermarket alt, but I have seen a couple threads of problems due to the BELT not the actual alt. That was fixed pretty quickly, DC Power and Mechman alts are always a choice here on the forums. I think it would be a wise choice. If there is a problem sure they wouldn't have a problem replacing it. I would say go for it hopefully some others chime in give you some output on problems if there was any. OrionStang
Should be no hesitation in choosing either DC or Mechman. They rarely have issues. And when they do, it gets resolved. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
ShaneBond
Most of the posts I see deal with the shipping time like people waiting 2 months that's my only issue lol. And would that alt be big enough for my system?

Even if it did take 2 months.. wouldn't it be worth it for a SOLID alt? Quote Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes. ShaneBond
True lol. But is 190 big enough for it? I already have an extra stinger in the back and will be adding another soon.

ShaneBond
Ya but I don't really want/ need an alt over 270 cuz I don't plan on upgrading my blazer much more so I want to keep it under 325.

Couldn't answer you man.. Haven't ran that big. How many watts are you going to be pushing out of the amp.. do you have the big three.. how many batteries? Will help some people answer your question.
