What power do you have the mid and tweet on? Active or passive? Edit: can't read. 9blazer8 Posted April 3, 2012 Author Report Posted April 3, 2012 well i have 4 6.5 hertz energys with the tweeters and i have 8 polk audio 12s for right now i actaully like how they sound but i guess anything of 8 is pretty loud in my opinion Quote
Robert8252 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) Is the amp bridged? I don't know the amp personally. Can it run active with the filters it has? Technically the mids alone can handle that whole amp. Could try that and get a amp for the tweeters around 100 watts. Or swap and get the 3way setup. Tons of options. I'm not big on super tweeters I know some recommend. Just don't like the sound. Might just need to invest in more power and another set of speakers. If you're running both sets on that amp that's the issue. They can handle 150-200 per 6.5 and tweet. So 6-800 watts for 2 pairs.
