Dracanse Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 ok so i know how to build box's but dont know to tune a port. i would GREATLY appreciate some one helping me design a box i have a 89 crx the max room i got is about depth-24, width is 38in, and height is about 14 and it touches at 14. i am getting 2 HDC3 10's eventually but am only getting one for right now so i want them in separate boxes. I want them to get real LOWWW but sound really sweet, I WANT TO KEEP THE BOX INSIDE THE DIVIDER. anything helps i appreciate even anyone willing to read this.

Download Torres box tuning calculator http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator/ plug in your dimensions then play with the port dimensions until you get you desired tuning with at least 12^2" of port per cubic foot. For what you want tuning around 32hz should be good. When your done take a screen shot and post it in this thread so someone can look it over and let you know if it's going to work.
