Kranny Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 I get 2v pre outs at 50/50 volume and then 1v at 44/50 then it goes to .3v at 35/50 volume, I have no way to tell at what point my hu clips at do I set it to 75% max volume 35. so your volume/preout voltage seems to be exponential then. i'd honestly set it to like 47 or 48 out of 50. some headunits start to clip at the final last two or one clicks on the volume. some others are clip free at full volume. without proper equipment you will never know. im probably going to get so much shit for this post, but its what i would do if i didnt own an oscope.
