dr down low Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 So I just preordered my DC 3.5k to push my RE Audio XXX 15 in 4.1 cubes after sub and port displacement. sq port area is 72 inches and Im tuned to 33hz. The unmentioned amp I have on there now is rated at 1600 watts rms but I am doubting it is seening over 1000 watts. I am hoping the dc 3.5 will bring this sub to life. What do you guys think. I am doing my big three this week and have a yellow top up front. High quality 1/0 power and ground to the amp. I will be adding HO alt and another batery as soon as I figure out the best pplication. My question is in general do you think this DC will push the XXX good. It is rated at 2000 wrms @ 1 ohm so I figured after box rise I should be able to power this with good clean power and have headroom left. Any predicitions on how this will sound.. 2004 VW Beetle turbo'd shiny and able to go boom...DONT ASK ME WHY BUT THE WOMENZ LIKEZ IT.
