SlamminBeats
So i want to glass my doors to add some more mid bass, but first i think il will try my first glass project on my pillars and possible just the front of an enclosure for an 8 (the 8 will be for my room). Anyways i just do not understand how you get the fiberglassed part to become part of the pillar/door? Can someone tell me the steps involved to making a fiberglassed pillar? i could then try this and apply it to the doors after practice. im really really lost ps should i do it on my c pillar first, which is a plastic material, or my a pillars which is like a carpet type of material? Jessica
http://www.mysporttrac.com/MySportTrac/projects/Fiberglassing_Tweeters_Into_Your-A-Pillars.pdf there is a nifty "how to" with pics on how to do it. You can support your speaker rings or pods with some birch strips or mdf and screw those to the a pillar from behind the panel. Hope this helps Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
