ham4864 Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 My current system consists of a Mbquart onx4.60 amp. I will be adding a saz-1000d or a sax-1200d with just 1 sa-12 giving it about 700 watts. Will i be safe with the 4gauge welding cable that i am using or do i need 1/0 power wire? Although i love bass i will never ever be in the thousands of thousands of watts range, that's just not me. I just like clean and simple in my rides. 2009 bmw 5 series Head Unit Stock Amplifier-JL Audio JX 360/4 Processor- Audiocontrol LC6
AgentTyler Posted April 13, 2012 Report Posted April 13, 2012 Bigger is always better, I have 2 runs of 4 Gauge running into a distribution block in the back. If you dont have money for 1/0, 4 gauge will work fine. 1998 Ford Contour Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P8400BH Front/Rear Door Speakers: Alpine SPR-68 (Type-R 6x8) Door Speaker Amplifer: Kicker ZX650.4 Subwoofers: 1 SSA Icon 12" Amplifier: MB.Quart 1.1500d Second Battery: XS Power D925
