4 gauge power wire question?

Recommended Posts

Posted

My current system consists of a Mbquart onx4.60 amp.

I will be adding a saz-1000d or a sax-1200d with just 1 sa-12 giving it about 700 watts.

Will i be safe with the 4gauge welding cable that i am using or do i need 1/0 power wire?

Although i love bass i will never ever be in the thousands of thousands of watts range, that's just not me. I just like clean and simple in my rides.

Bigger is always better, I have 2 runs of 4 Gauge running into a distribution block in the back. If you dont have money for 1/0, 4 gauge will work fine.
