SimonSezGoDwnBit Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 thinkin about ditching my kickers. anybody had any luck with the sx18s? im think of setting them up by removing the back seat, putting the subs on the back part of the seat facing forward and COMPLETELY sealing the rear off with a sealed box in the trunk so that i dont have to depend on the trunk SEELS letting all the air out. or could i maybe just get some good weatherstripping for my seels?

larrys95civic Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Are you attempting to use your trunk as your enclosure? If so I wouldn't recommend this at all. If you talking about building a sealed enclosure into your trunk and then sealing it off into your cab I'm not sure your trunk would have enough airspace. What type of car is it? SimonSezGoDwnBit Posted April 14, 2012 Author Report Posted April 14, 2012 yeah i will seal the whole trunk and make it a big ass box with mdf board.. the car is a 2001 crown victoria p71 trunk is 14cu feet itd be smaller though with my box if i build it to seal it off instead of using the WHOLE trunk... idkkk i need input this is my first personal 18 setup
