What's the last pic? Is that the seat closeness to the subs? EDIT - wait that's the port to the side wall?

thats the port firing against passenger wall. i just made a plate to cover the 5/7 speaker that was there....so ive got an 1 1/2 inch....it doesnt seem to be hurting the sound coming out the port at all but i wanna see if i can give it some more clearance

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME.....................AND PLATYPUS THANKS FOR HELPING WITH THE ENCLOSURE

Ok if I may suggest some rearranging for you, to help clean things up. This is what I would do. First thing, rotate that battery counter clockwise and push it all the way to the back of the rack. Next, get something, strap, rope, plumbers tape, anything to attach over the top of the battery from the front of your little frame you built. It's not going to slide but those sides aren't that thick and it could bounce out of there.

Secondly, buy moving the battery to the back it gives you the space up front to run the power and ground cables in from the side up the front of the battery and then helps with playing with those notches in the battery on the terminals. Tricky getting them from the top like you have it. Then, you can also ziptie the two cables together, as well as the ground to the amps, and make it a nice bundle. The inline fuse holder to the main pos cable, could attach right there in front of the battery as well. nice little loop on the cable itself and up the battery.

Then you could drop that dual fuse block down and center it in there where the inline was at. flip it around, and run your 1/0 gauge up to it. Might also help you to run the rest of those cables under the board and come up from the bottom of the board into the bottom amp, and then the same thing for the top amp.

Just some suggestions. Glad you like the sound already though. It should get better as the subs loosen up too. Nice job.

I'm sure someone can correct me but I think that you should have at least the width of the port itself as clearance. Maybe even more. I know you have tight quarters already. Again, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I just thought I read that somewhere. But then again, if it sounds good maybe just say EFF it.

i welcome the suggestions............i just wanted it playing before i started to get everything tightened up.........i will try what you suggest about turning the battery and yes it was a pain in the ass the way i have the ground........i have a bracket in a previous pic that makes it easier but i have to get some of the metal trimmed off so it will look cleaner........and my original idea was to put the main fuse block in front off battery and the distro block to the side of it and then hide power wire underneath the amp rack.......but space was the determining factor and its been raining every damn day so i just did what i had to do to get it playing....
