Mikey Bates Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 lets say you have a 4 channel amp that puts out 50rms x 4 @ 4 ohms... 75 rms x 4 @ 2 ohms.....and bridged 150rms x 2 @ 4 ohms. Can i take one bridged lead and run it to voice coil A on my sub (which is 4 ohms) and run the other to voice coil B on my sub (also 4 ohms) That way each voice coil is getting 150rms from the amp, and the amp is getting a 4 ohm load from each voice coil. yes, or no? does this work, is it a do, or don't?
