AlpineGuy87
Hey guys, I got some holiday gift money to spend on something nice. I've decided to get a Bose computer speaker system. I think I'm getting the Bose Companion 5 System. ($399) my other choice is the Bose Companion 3 System. ($249) I'm possibly getting discount on either one and so I'm going to go with the 5 system if i do get the discount! I will be getting the system after christmas, next week. So i'm looking forward to either one!! What you guys think!? Edited December 22, 2007 by AlpineGuy87 Quote 06 SCION tC

Bose is unfortunately no good, their marketing team has gotten the best of everyone. i've always heard that Bose were cheap speakers but somehow the way they were made they sounded good. i'm not really into Bose but I know they sound good but i ain't got the money for them right now. i like my JVC 5.1 surround just fine. Bose is unfortunately no good, their marketing team has gotten the best of everyone. i've always been a fan of Bose, I've had no problem with Bose at all. I'm trying to clear some space on my desk here and go with some nice quality small speakers. Quote 06 SCION tC

The quality of how they sound I just love, i think the technology behind bose is exceptional, whether some want to agree or not, its opinion-based i guess. lol. Anywho, I'm looking forward to getting them, especially at the hookup price Quote 06 SCION tC
Guest MegaloManiac
they are cheaply made. The prices are so high due to heavy marketing(which is working btw). in those satellites you will see $35 china speakers in there. If you seriously want to drop the cash on Bose then go ahead, however with the same amount of money i am sure you can come up with something miles better. Bower & Wilkins has some nice bookshelves that might faint interest to you. there goes an ol' saying "no highs, no lows, must be BOSE"
