hey guys i have been thinking of ways to have 2 12's DC level 4 or XL's in my trunk 03 cadillac DTS but i just cant think of a way to make a ported box that the port goes into my car so i have a crazzy question has any one ever used DC's in a sealed box? or any idea to make a ported box for a car like mine ? that the seats dont recline?

Why not have the port fire towards the back of the trunk? Would be better than sealed imo.

Or 4th order.. and port threw the rear deck :bandwagon:

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

I agree with DJ , it will be better ported towards the trunk than sealed. You could also try something through the rear deck, in between the speakers.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't even see the second part DjCrush said.

well this is were im stuck because i have a 10 inch EV in my rear deck that i do not want to get rid of but idk how hard would the subs hit if they just into the trunk or would it hit harder if the port going into the car? because i have seen people make boxes that go into the car from the rear arm rest door but how does that box work ?? sorry for my cunfusing answer dont know how to word it....

Oh ok, I gotcha. But I still think it would be louder ported than sealed, even if you can't have a physical opening (if that makes sense) into the cabin of your car. My Sundown 8 inch sub is in my trunk, ported to the back of my quarter panel to the side, and my seats don't fold down either.

yhea so if anyt hing i just might make them go to the trunk because i wanna get started with the build but still cunfused on how im going to do it... does any one know of a build that the port goes into the car or a box layout? that would help thanks!
