Well my friend was looking for a subwoofer to get for christmas and he only had like $300 to spend on it. So I steered him towards the Level 4 18. Im going to be designing and building the box for him but I was wonder what you guys think would be the best size for this box and what tuning. I was thinking like 4.5 cubes tuned to 32-35 hz what do you guys think?

Thanks

Youre going to need to be a little bigger than 4.5 cubes. I havent had much time to experiment with a level 4 but i would lean more towards 6-8 cubes @33-36 with 65-80sq.in. of port area...

they recommend 5-8cuft so in between there u will be fine and like cloak559 said 33-36hz tuning

i would go 6cuft tuned to 35hz with about 1500-1700 wrms if you can
