Vintage JetBoat Audio advice needed

I have an old jet boat, that I enjoy blasting around the rivers and lakes here in NorCal with. And I like my Old Rock and Roll! Loud!

Currently I have a Sony Deck -- CDX-550X 3-pre amp outputs, F-R-Sub. and great old Fosgate Punch 200 aluminum 4 channel amp. 4 infinity reference series 5 1/4" coaxials. A Polk 12db single voice coil sub. and a Dennon 2 channel DCA-400 amp bridged for the sub.

"My question is What kind of power should I be running my new sub with?" I dig listening to AC/DC, GodSmac, and now and then a little mellower stuff. So Im not looking for a Slapper setup, just clean powerful Rock and Roll! Thanx for any input, and heres a couple pics of the current layout!

Thanks Cat daddy for the input. The Polk is very new, only about an hour playtime. Want to break it in right. Just not sure how much power (well clean power) I should throw at it. Since I'm not looking for a "Slappin" or "Hair Movin" Bass action. Just clean rock notes from this system. T dennon only puts out 140 watts @ 4ohms the way I have it setup (bridged) But Im thinking thats a little weak for the DB12

says up to 360 watt RMS + Boxrise, get a matchin used 4-500 watt´s RF mono. I guess an old in case of class AB amptechnic, warmer and fatter sound

than the new class D amps.

With the wattage you are using you are fine since your not trying to part yhe red sea like myself but with what you have you will get the sound you are looking for

Thanks for the reply guys! Prolly wont have it out on the water till thursday! That will be the true sound test! A hopped up Ford 460 engine can make some pretty powerful noise of its own when wound up! I'll post what I think!
