Dillan Turvold
If I have a sub that requires 2 cubic feet of space and i'm giving it 1.61 does it make a big difference in sound quality? if I build a bigger box will all the bass tones sound deeper or just the lows? (ported box, both would be tuned @ 33hz) Thanks.
Dillan Turvold
why does no one answer my shit? i google and ask people everyday no one can give me a straight answer. i have to wait for my next paycheck to decide to build a bigger box god damn. V8SRSLO
im no guru by any means, but from what i know smaller then ideal boxes require more power and work the sub a lot harder to get the same effect. creating higher ohm rise to the amp also making it even more power hungry. as far as deeper-the actual frequency tune and box material will play the biggest part of it. glad to see you made it to the forum.. i had a feeling you would chime in on this. there are some real knee slappers that happen in this sub forum.. so be prepared.
